1. Introduction

Quadzee, LLC ("Quadzee", "we", "us", or "our") develops and maintains the Quadzee trading software platform (the "Software"). This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, store, and protect your personal information when you use the Software.

By creating an account or using the Software, you consent to the practices described in this Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, you must not use the Software.

2. Information We Collect

2.1 Account Information

When you register, we collect:

  • Email address
  • First and last name
  • Username
  • Referral code used
  • Account creation timestamp
  • Timezone preference

2.2 Exchange Credentials

You provide API keys to connect the Software to your Exchange accounts. These keys are:

  • Encrypted at rest using industry-standard encryption (Fernet/AES).
  • Used solely to execute trades and fetch data on your behalf.
  • Never shared with third parties.
  • Accessible only through the Software's automated processes.

2.3 Trading Data

The Software processes and stores data related to your trading activity, including:

  • Engine configurations (parameters, symbols, intervals).
  • Trade orders placed via the Software (symbol, side, amount, status, timestamps).
  • Trade execution details (entry/exit prices, quantities, fees, profit/loss).
  • Market data (candlestick/kline data) for analysis and charting.
  • Account balances as reported by connected Exchanges.

2.4 Usage & Technical Data

We automatically collect:

  • IP address and approximate geolocation.
  • Browser type and version.
  • Pages visited and time spent.
  • Device identifiers and operating system.
  • Error logs and diagnostic data.

We may use third-party error tracking tools (e.g., Sentry) that collect diagnostic data.

2.5 Agreement & Signature Data

When you sign our Software License Agreement, we record:

  • Your typed legal signature.
  • IP address at time of signing.
  • Browser user agent string.
  • Timestamp of signature.
  • Version of the document signed.

This data is retained as a legal record of your consent and is not deleted upon account termination.

3. How We Use Your Information

Quadzee uses collected data to:

  • Operate the Software and execute trades via your API keys.
  • Manage your account and provide customer support.
  • Improve the Software through usage analysis and error diagnostics.
  • Monitor for security threats, fraud, and prohibited activities.
  • Comply with legal obligations and enforce our agreements.
  • Send operational communications (account alerts, technical updates).
  • Manage referral and credit systems.

We do not use your data for advertising, profiling, or selling to third parties.

4. Data Sharing & Disclosure

Quadzee does not sell your personal data. We may share information only in these circumstances:

  • Infrastructure Providers: Hosting, database, and infrastructure providers who process data on our behalf under strict confidentiality obligations.
  • Error Tracking: Third-party error monitoring tools (e.g., Sentry) receive diagnostic data to help us identify and fix issues.
  • Legal Requirements: We may disclose data when required by law, subpoena, court order, or governmental request, or when necessary to protect Quadzee's rights, safety, or property.
  • Business Transfer: In the event of a merger, acquisition, or asset sale, your data may be transferred. We will notify you before such transfer.
  • With Your Consent: For any other purpose, only with your explicit consent.

5. Data Security

We implement industry-standard security measures to protect your data:

  • API keys and sensitive credentials are encrypted at rest.
  • Passwords are hashed using secure one-way hashing algorithms.
  • All data in transit is encrypted via TLS/HTTPS.
  • Access controls limit data access to authorized systems and personnel.
  • Regular security reviews and updates are performed.

However, no method of electronic storage or transmission is 100% secure. While we strive to protect your data, we cannot guarantee absolute security.

You play a critical role in security. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account password and the security of API keys generated from your Exchange accounts.

6. Data Retention

We retain your data as follows:

  • Account data: Retained for the lifetime of your account plus any legally required retention period.
  • Trading data: Retained for the lifetime of your account for reporting, tax, and audit purposes.
  • Agreement signatures: Retained indefinitely as a legal record of consent.
  • Usage data: Generally retained for up to 12 months unless needed for security or legal purposes.
  • Error logs: Retained for up to 90 days.

You may request deletion of your account and associated data by contacting support, subject to legal and operational retention requirements.

7. Your Data Protection Rights

Depending on your location, you may have the following rights:

  • Access: Request a copy of the personal data we hold about you.
  • Rectification: Request correction of inaccurate or incomplete data.
  • Erasure: Request deletion of your personal data (subject to legal retention requirements).
  • Restriction: Request restriction of processing of your data.
  • Portability: Request your data in a structured, machine-readable format.
  • Objection: Object to processing of your data for certain purposes.
  • Withdrawal of Consent: Withdraw consent at any time where processing is based on consent.

8. Cookies & Tracking

The Software uses cookies for:

  • Essential Cookies: Session management and authentication. Required for the Software to function.
  • Functional Cookies: Remembering your preferences (e.g., timezone, display settings).

We do not use advertising cookies, third-party tracking pixels, or analytics cookies that share data with advertisers. You can configure your browser to reject cookies, but this may prevent you from using the Software.

9. Children's Privacy

The Software is not intended for individuals under 18 years of age. We do not knowingly collect personal data from anyone under 18. If we become aware that a user is under 18, we will promptly delete their account and associated data.

10. International Data Transfers

Your data may be transferred to and processed in the United States. By using the Software, you consent to this transfer. Quadzee takes reasonable steps to ensure your data is treated securely and in accordance with this Privacy Policy regardless of where it is processed.

11. Third-Party Integrations

The Software connects to third-party cryptocurrency Exchanges via their APIs. These Exchanges have their own privacy policies and data practices. Quadzee is not responsible for the privacy practices of any third-party Exchange. We encourage you to review their policies.

12. Do Not Track Signals

The Software does not currently respond to "Do Not Track" (DNT) browser signals. We do not engage in cross-site tracking.

13. California Privacy Rights

If you are a California resident, the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA) provides you additional rights, including the right to know what personal information we collect and how it is used, the right to request deletion, and the right to opt out of the sale of personal information. We do not sell personal information.

14. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Material changes will require you to review and re-acknowledge the updated policy. The "Effective Date" at the top will be updated accordingly.
